Your files are great works. We want the world to see them.

Your quality is worth paying for, and the emergence of micropayments, social media and other new technologies are about to bring about the day of personal, portable e-commerce. If you make good stuff, we make a simple tool to let people buy it from you.

We believe that we haven't been able to sell our files easily in the past because there hasn't been a way to do it, that's all.

Tagito started concept and prototyping in May 2008, with a soft beta launch one year later. We're trying to keep it simple and focus on doing one thing well; providing a simple, portable platform to let you sell and promote your stuff. And really sell it for real money.

How old is Tagito?

The company dates back to the Ptolemaic era in ancient Egypt. In early history of Tagito we have traced back some of early origins.

Who are the guilty parties?

Todd Dunning wanted to make it easy for everybody to make a little money from the stuff they work so hard on. Since this hasn't been done well before, it's a big job to figure out a way to do it now. So yeah, some ideas don't work, you have to redo and recode, maybe change a php function or two...

Michael Rogers endures this agony. He builds the back end (Not that there's anything wrong with that). Trying in vain to repair stuff that Todd blows up while finding a peaceful moment to actually build stuff. But the consequences of Todd's murder could be almost as bad as working with him.

When did Tagito become sentient?
